Military Contractors Fund Group

There are six different investment opportunities in the military contractors fund group. The market value range for this fund group runs from a quality low-end large-cap company, Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding, at $7B, to General Dynamics with a market valuation of $273B. Thus, these investment stocks are all high-quality, low-risk investments, which is one of the key principles of value investing.

Value Investment Fund

This particular pool of investments has been the least actively managed, yet it has generated over $67,950 across three security transactions and five PUT Option contracts.

The results are as follows:

  • Securities                                    $53,964
  • PUT Options                                 11,693
  • Dividends                                        2,293
  • Total Military Contractors       $67,950

The average basis over four years of activity was $20,994, earning back $67,950. This equals an 81% annualized return on the investment from this pool.

The absolute most lucrative transaction occurred with this pool. In February of 2025, the pool purchased 500 shares of Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding at $160 per share (Huntington announced difficulty with getting the US Navy to sign a key contract) after dropping $30 per share in one day. On 06/20/25 (4.5 months later), the Fund sold the 500 shares at $241 each, netting $39,500 on a $80,500 investment. On 09/30/25, Huntington was trading at $286 a share and had peaked at $291/SH on 10/14/25.

This happened because the Facilitator of this website was well aware of Huntington’s intrinsic value and optimum buy price. Once those preset points were met, the Fund bought and sold this investment and made an annualized return in excess of 125%.

This is the value of having pools of investments. Knowledge of the individual investment opportunities allows a value investor to take advantage of sudden market price changes.

See the attached details for this particular pool’s activity over the last four years (no activity for this pool in Years One and Two of the Value Investment Fund).
